Be it an actor, executive, model, mom or actor, portrait photographer Lisa Pearlman captures the spirit of those in front of her camera. She incorporates the backdrop of the color and culture of New York City into her work, and utilizes her state of the art photography studio. Her warmth, professionalism and engaging personality puts her clients at ease.
Lisa's love of photography began the first time she picked up her dad's camera. She took photographs of just about everyone she knew, and objects that caught her eye; eventually she built a darkroom in her basement.
After graduating from Brown University, Lisa worked in fashion, finance and marketing. She then studied the art of fashion styling and image consulting at Parsons School of Design. During her years as a stay-at-home mom, Lisa followed her passion for photography by building a collection of iconic fashion images by such masters as Cecil Beaton, Irving Penn, Horst and William Klein.
Lisa has studied at the International Center of Photography,The Santa Fe Photography Workshop as well as with a number of leading photographers.
